The other day, we heard Jasper shout from the bathroom, "Dad!! I have found something very..... very....... inter-esting!!"
to which andrew replied, "Really? What is it?" and Jasper said,
"It's something metal with wires coming out all over it!"
Andrew went to investigate with Jasper, and lo and behold, what Jasper had found was my new curling iron! it made us literally lol!

Brody has started talking!! It's so exciting!! Last week, he regularly started saying the word "Jasper" which comes out like "baber", which is exactly how Jasper pronounced his name when he was little. It's so fun for me to hear Bro-bro saying words and how dear it is to my momma's heart that his first word is his big brother's name! This week, he has added the words ball (pronounced "ba-ahhhh-l") and juice (pronounced "juuuu") to his vocabulary. I'm trying my hardest to have him add "momma" and "dadda" to his repertoire. ;o)

The boys both got hair cuts today!!! It was brody's first haircut and I saved a thick strand and taped it in his baby book. Jasper's is a little shorter than I intended, but he looks very handsome and clean cut. :o) Brody looks like such a little man to me now.

I had the most wonderful trip to ohio this last weekend!! It was so very precious and deserves a blog post all dedicated to itself. :o) Ohio blog coming soon!

The other day, we tried to fry an egg on the sidewalk outside since it was so hot out. It was an epic fail!! hah! :o) In this pic, Jasper is sitting... patiently...watching... for many minutes... for this egg to fry. It never did.

We went to chick-fil-a for all 3 meals for "dress like a cow, get free chicken" day! It. was. a. blast!!
I was going to Kroger's today and asked Andrew if he needed anything. He added a few items. Then I asked Jasper if he needed anything, and he said, "yes please! Something flat with sugar on it." lol! umm... I'll see what I can do.

Today was Dad Meade's birthday! it was so fun!! We got to see him this morning and this evening and then later this evening for his party. He is such a wonderful man and we're so blessed to live so close and get to experience life with him on a daily basis!
